On April 7th of 2019, Kyle Ford endured a horrific accident while troubleshooting repairs on a friend’s motorcycle. While on the road, he went over a pothole and the front end malfunctioned causing him to wreck. When he landed, he shattered his cheekbone, nose and endured severe head trauma. He was then discovered unconscious and transported to Vidant Medical Center. It was quickly detected that he had suffered brain bleeding and is currently suffering from a diffuse axonal brain injury. Still hospitalized, doctors and family unknowing of the extent of injuries or recovery time are hoping and praying for minimal damage and recovery.
Kyle is a 35-year-old loving husband of his wife, Jessica and caring father of two, Scarlett (Age: 4) and Myles (Age: 2). He is known for being attentive and protective father, a supporting spouse, all along with being a guardian and caretaker for his friend, a disabled veteran who suffered from a very similar accident. He has selflessly invested himself into contributing to society, the future, and those in need; and now, he is one in need of help from us.
Of course, the expenses accompanying this traumatic event should be the last thing on the minds of the Ford Family and so we ask for assistance to help him and his family in their time of need. Medical bills can take a toll on a family who is already suffering so much. All of the proceeds raised will be used for the specialized medical care, upcoming rehabilitation and physical therapy, and living costs while the family is unable to work.
Please keep Kyle and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
