Kyle Tamaray's Memorial Fundraiser

Hey guys,

 

Last week, our friend Kyle let us know he was headed to the emergency room and was not feeling well, and over the weekend he was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. We are still waiting on some further details on treatment, but as for now we know for sure that he will have to endure at least one round of a 10-day chemo treatment and at least 30 days inpatient hospital stay. There’s going to be a lot of extra expenses as his insurance will not cover all of the treatment and we don’t know how long he will need treatment for. Additionally, his family has had to travel across the country to be with him and are trying to focus on their son and not the financial burden this will cause. There is a lot of unknown right now and cancer doesn't care that he is a friend, son, pharmacy student, etc. He would never ask for a dime from anyone and for those of you who don’t know Kyle, I’m telling you if he stumbled across a GoFundMe for you he would dump his whole life savings in it without even knowing who you are (and we as his friends would then scold him and tell him to not give all his money away) and for those of you that do know Kyle, you know he would give the shirt off his back for anyone.
