Let me tell you all about my friend Krystyn. She recently found out that she has a large pituitary tumor at the base of her brain that has started creating irreversible damage. The size of it has made it a more complicated surgery than previously thought and with the potential for even more blindness and/or brain damage.

Krystyn is one of the most caring people I have ever met and she is consistently putting others needs above her own.  Now it is time for her to get some help in return.  She and her husband have had a rough start to the year.  Krystyn's husband had his foot run over by a big rig truck and has to go through a couple of surgeries himself.  This was followed by the news that Krystyn has this tumor that will require a very complicated surgery and she will be out of work.  They are now unsure of how they will be able to pay bills and care for their two beautiful children during this time with both of them recovering from intense surgeries and being out of work.

Krystyn is a hair stylist and does not get any benefits, including disability leave, which leaves them in dire straits.
