Hope for Belize Mission Trip

Dear Friends,
I am beyond excited to share with you that I have the opportunity to join a women’s mission trip to Armenia, Belize. We will be traveling together, around 18 of us partnering with Pelican Praying Missions, in April 11-17th. During our trip we will spend time building relationships with the women of the village, build a chicken coop, teach them how to use sewing machines, host a women’s business conference, serve at The King’s Children’s Home and so much more. I am most excited about the relationships we will build with these women.
For the past 10 years I have really learned how to walk with Christ and have really grown to love serving by following His lead. For the past year I have been without a place to serve but I really believe that was God intended so that I may get my health back. Get my happiness back. Concentrate on my family. He knows what we need even when we disagree. I am beyond ready to jump in with both feet and find ways to serve so when the opportunity to be a part of this incredible group of women and serve in Belize, I knew that God was telling me it was time. The door is beginning to open for me to prayerfully consider other ways that I can use the experiences I learned while serving for the MOPS ministry and in the church I attended while living in Cary.
Would you consider helping our group make an impact on these women and children in Belize? We are each asked to contribute $2000 towards the trip. The cost of includes our airfare and travel expenses, but it also covers ministry supplies. We will be buying the materials for the chicken coop once in Belize and we will also be buying groceries for the women of the village among other things. No donated amount is too small and all of your contributions are tax deductible. If you are unable to contribute financially, the other very important part of this is prayer. Would you pray for our team? Would you pray for the children’s home we are going to visit? Would you pray for the families lives we will no doubt learn a lot from?
My goal is to have my trip fully funded in the next month so that I can remove that stressor and concentrate on team building and praying for how God will use me and my teammates on this trip.
If you would like to contribute financially, please make the check to Hope for Belize and you can mail them directly to me and I will then forward them to our team leaders. I will send each of you a letter and photos so that you can see where your prayers and/or money were at work. This is an opportunity to be a part of a mission trip if you cannot attend one right now.
