Corey and Kourtney to the Olympics

Greetings Family and Friends! This has been an exciting season for Corey and Kourtney on the track. This past weekend they competed in the final Regional competition to qualify for the AAU Junior Olympics and we are proud to say that they both qualified in multiple events. Evenmore, they posted some very impressive times that place the twins among some of the top 13 year olds in the country.
Here are some of Corey's best times:
- 800m, 2:16 - Silver medalist
-4x400m relay, 56 sec split - Gold medalist
-4x800m relay, 2:18 split - Silver medalist
Here are some of Kourtney's best times:
-100m, 12.3 sec - Gold medalist
-200m, 25.4 sec - Gold medalist
-4x100m relay, 49 sec (team time) - Gold medalist
-4x400m relay, 56 sec split - Gold medalist
We couldn't be more proud of their accomplishments and would like to continue to encourage their dream of going to the Olympics. This year they will be held from August 1-8 in Hampton Roads, Virginia and we would love to have your support. Due to the scheduling of the Regionals, we unfortunately are getting a late start, but hope that through this effort we can raise some of the funds needed to take the twins to the competiton.
ALL funds raised will be used to cover the following expenses:
-Transportation (round-trip)
-Hotel Accommodations
-Daily Meals and Healthy Snacks
-Nutritional Supplements
As always we appreciate any support you can give as their involvement in travel track has proven to be quite expensive over the years. Nevertheless, it is one of the best investments we have ever made as their future in the sport of Track and Field looks very promising. We again invite you to share in the joy by supporting them this year. If you are unable to donate at this time, just know that your prayers and well wishes are more than appreciated.
We also hope you enjoy the wonderful video created by our daughter, Kayla (17). She has been one of Corey and Kourtney's greatest supporters and has AGAIN done a wonderful job of bringing a portion of their season to life through an original media production. Thanks Kay, we love you!!
