Kitty's Knee Surgery Bill

Hello friends,

For a few years now, my special someone, Kitty Darko, has complained of some chronic knee pain.  We took a visit to a doctor for a routine checkup after the flu, and asked him to take a look at her knee, and the lump on it.  He felt the lump, was immediately concerned, and sent us off to get an x-ray, MRI and to see a knee specialist. It was then we learned what an osteochrondroma is. 

An osteochrondroma is more commonly referred to as a "bone spur" or "bone tumor."  While they are one of the most common non-cancerous tumor, it is growing right on her knee, causing chronic pain in both her legs and back. The pain is so bad, Kitty actually walks with a cane now.

Unfortunately, the place where Kitty was working has decided to put her on unpaid, unassisted medical leave.  She's one of the best workers they have, so they won't actually fire her, but they won't let her work if she needs a cane. It's been really hard to find any other businesses that are willing to hire someone with a medical condition that is so debilitating.

What this GoFundMe is for is to help cover the surgery and medical expenses associated with the insurance deductable and doctors visits.  Hopefully, we can get the surgery scheduled very soon, will update with surgery date.
This girl means the world to me. I can't stress that enough.  Anyone who knows our story knows how bumpy it was finding eachother. Unforuntately,  I alone cannot pay for this surgery.  Nobody in our families have the ability to pay for the entirety of the surgery either.

We're reaching out to our friends and family for help. Because, really, Kitty just wants to feel like her old self again.  To be able to run, jump, dance, ride a bike, anything that involves using her knees, which is pretty much anything physical. There is no way to describe how grateful we are and will be to the people who have reached out to us and offered aid in this extremely hard time. From the bottom of both of our hearts, we thank you.
