Severely Handicapped Sibling Dogs Kit and Caboodle

Last year we visited the Best Friend's Animal Sanctuary, in Kanab, Utah. While there we met a very small Chihuahua named "Robert Johnson," or "Robbie J." He was in a doggie wheelchair as his back legs were paralyzed. He also had a muffled bark as his previous owners de-barked this little guy. Despite his woes, Robbie seemed to be a powerhouse of love and joy. We left the sanctuary hoping a great family would adopt him. Three weeks later, we took the 8-hour drive back to Utah from California and ADOPTED little Robbie J. We have never regretted our decision.

This year we again took a trip out to the Sanctuary. This time we met brother and sister dogs named Kit and Caboodle, also severely handicapped neurologically impaired dogs. We made a decision to raise money not only for this special pair but for other severely handicapped animals, so we started a Go Fund Me for any and all animals we can help who face such severe challenges.

Most shelters cannot handle these special beings, but Best Friends takes them in and provides for their needs in a most loving way.  We would like to help them keep doing their incredible work by starting the "Robbie J. Fund for Severely Handicapped Animals." Donations will go toward neurological vet visits, special medical equipment, medication, and the many high costs associated with special needs animals.  Our first recipients of funds will be Kit and Caboodle!

Please donate and pass this link on to other wonderful animal lovers who would like to be part of this journey.  We will update frequently.

With much gratitude!
