I LOVE to dance and am so excited to have been accepted into the 5 week Kirov Summer Intensive Dance Program that is designed to improve my technique and serve as a gateway to even more serious opportunities for studying and performing dance.
I began dancing at age 5 at the Debbie Allen Dance Academy, and have spent 6 years studying various genres of dance, including Graham, Ballet, Flamenco, Hip Hop, Tap, Modern, Jazz and African. My intense training has resulted in many amazing experiences, most recently performing at the White House for Michelle Obama and the Black History Month Tribute to African American Women in Dance! Additionally, I have appeared in other productions such a Gap commercial, Debbie Allen’s Hot Chocolate Nutcracker, the first ever Oscar Concert where I danced with Jill Scott performing the Happy song, numerous recitals and intensive programs.
I am committed to becoming a professional dancer, and even attend a school for Performing Arts in Los Angeles, CA. Attending Kirov will be an important step in continuing my passion for dance and art. I appreciate your help in allowing me to reach my dreams! Thank You.
