*UPDATE*
After 6 weeks of radiation and chemotherapy, and a brief disappearance of the tumor and cancer, we were very saddened to hear the news that Kip's cancer has returned. Kip is scheduled to undergo a major surgery to remove the tumor and a portion of his colon/intestine on September 26th. He will be out of work for 4-6 months post surgery.
Please consider dontaing to help ease the weight of anticipated/ongoing medical bills and wage loss.

On 11/10/2016 our brother, Kip Nordmeyer, was diagnosed with colo-rectal cancer.
His initial treatment plan (which will begin next week) consists of daily chemotherapy for 5-6 weeks, surgery, and possible radiation.
The cost of treatment will be astronimical, and though he and his wife Charlene both work full time, paying for the out of pocket expenses, copays, and deductibles will create a significant financial burdon.
Cancer is a devastating disease, and something we hope to never encounter, or see a dear friend or family member endure.
All funds raised through this campaign will go directly towards the cost of the treatment, transportation to and from chemo treatments, physician, medication, and hospital charges not covered by insurance, and to supplement lost wages while Kip is recovering. Please consider helping out in any way you can. Our family sincerely thanks you.
Many thanks,
Ben Nordmeyer and Abby (Nordmeyer) Schmitz
