Help Me See My Parents!

Kindre Contact Centre was set up to help children and families across the UK as there are no other accredited supervised centres in the Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire and Cheshire area. We are a very small team, who would love to offer contact in the community to enable children to make memories with their estranged parent.

About contact in a centre -

People automatically think people coming to a contact centre have done something wrong, however most of the time this is not as straight forward as it first seems. Lots of relationships can be destructive and unhealthy but it does not mean that they cannot be good parents.

When parents separate or divorce, the relationships between the adults can be difficult for lots of different reasons, but most children want to maintain a relationship with both their parents as well as other important and well-established family members.

Studies have shown that children can encounter more difficulties in life, such as emotional or behavioural problems, if they don’t have a good relationship with both parents.

Relationships in conflict could be as a breakdown of communication, conflict between the parents, contact not taking place for a long time or if either parent can’t or won’t see the other. Our service can help in breaking down all these barriers and support with resolution

Our Community Contact -

Our Community Contact will benefit children and their parents by providing a normalised yet safe and nurturing environment for a young person to spend meaningful time with other adult parties. Our focus will always be to ensure the wishes and feelings of the young person are paramount in everything we do.

all donations received will enable us to have a dedicated member of staff to support community contact, as we are such a small team we sometimes struggle.
