Hello, my name is Kim Murphy. I was diagnosed with stage IIA HER2 positive, breast cancer on April 26, 2013. Since that time, I have undergone 4 three week cycles of Adriamycin and Cytoxan and then 12 weekly cycles of Taxol and Herceptin. I had a bilateral mastectomy on December 6, 2013, and I will be out of work until mid January. I still have Herceptin treatments every 3 weeks until the end of August. This will complete a years' worth of chemotherapy treatment. During my treatment, my daughter, Kiley, age 9, was diagnosed with Guttate psoriasis. This diagnosis required 4 months of phototherapy treatment. I work 40 hours a week as a nurse, but due to treatment and appointments, I have been unable to work my full-time schedule. Although I have insurance, there are many outstanding medical bills that insurance does not cover. I am struggling to meet my regular monthly bills let alone all these added medical expenses. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you,
Kim Murphy
