My name is Kayla Kimmons and recently I was selected to travel to California and attend the University of California - Berkeley for the National Student Leadership Conference to  expand my knowledge of what I want my career to be in the future - a screenplay writer.  During the week at the conference I will gain an insider's perspective of the screenplay writer.   I will meet with leaders in the field  and take exclusive trips and tours.   At the completion of the program, I will be awarded an Academic Transcript,  Letters of Recommendations and a Certificate of Achievement to include in my college applications.

 This trip means the world to me because I will grow and have better chances of getting into the colleges that support my aspirations.   By attending this Leadership Conference,  I can learn skills that will help me write better while also taking constructive criticism from professionals.   

I am asking for your help to assist with conference costs, travel expenses and  incidental expenses so that I can get a little closer to realizing my dream of becoming a screenplay writer.
