When I first met Kimberley she was a vibrant and talented professor of English at the school where we both worked.  A short time later her life was turned upside down by a diagnosis of a rare cancer with a tough prognosis. After countless challenges and set-backs over the past 5 years, she has beaten the odds but is now facing a new round of treatments due to a re-occurrence of the tumor. Her dream is to spend Christmas with her three children at DisneyWorld; it will create the refuge where they can celebrate their time together, her upcoming victory over the disease and create a memory they will cherish for the rest of their lives.
