Kimberley is Kicking Cancer!

5/4/2018 - Kimberley was admitted to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND after being at the Walk-In Clinic earlier that day for large amounts of Petechiae & major amounts of bruising.  Blood work confirmed Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia

5/5/2018 - Doctors confirmed the B-Type ALL Leukemia & Kimberley underwent her first three rounds of Chemotherapy while admitted to wing 7S at Sanford Medical Center along with undergoing a Bone Marrow Biopsy, a Power Port Install in her right chest, and a Lumbar Puncture to determine whether the cancer had spread to her brain (which fortunately it had not).

5/5/2018 through 5/8/2018 - Kimberley underwent many blood tests while admitted in order to rule out any other possible diseases that could be associated with the Leukemia.  She was finally sent home the evening of 5/8/2018 to begin Outpatient Visits.

Kimberley will be completing "Phase 1" of her cancer treatment through 6/2/2018 at the Roger Maris Cancer Center in Fargo, ND.  This will include Blood Work, Lumbar Punctures, Spinal Chemo & IV Chemotherapy.

"Phase 2" is set to begin once all the necessary boxes are checked from "Phase 1".  This could last anywhere from six to eight months.

Provided everything goes as planned, Kimberley will hopefully achieve remission after 2 1/2 years undergoing treatment.
