Hi everyone
Near, afar, abroad. Anyone to whom Kilmurry is home. Our Village Christmas lights, beloved by so many, are in need of a little TLC. The lights that string to and fro across the village are called festoon lights. Most of these are approaching 10 years old and have been kept going by Dermy through patching cables, joining cables, swapping bulbs here and there, whatever had to be done to keep the lights going, all to give our children some magic before and during Christmas. Most of us know how our children’s faces light up brighter than the lights when we drive up or walk up through the village.
The cables that hold these lights need to be replaced. Not all, but most. We think this will cost €800 - €1000, we’re not quite sure. We’re setting a goal of €1000 and if there is anything spare it will be used to add another decoration or two. Please support as best you can, every euro, every fiver counts. Your support for Kilmurry Village Christmas lights is genuinely hugely appreciated. It’s worth keeping it going, let’s keep it going.
Please help us to reach our overall €2400 goal to help build on previous donations from 2019.
Thank you for your continued support.
