Kill the Painting is a horror comedy about a megalomaniac manic/depressive greatest-painter-in-the-world Lenny the Painter struggling with his creative process. Production on the film is mostly wrapped; an 8-day long grungy guerilla shoot that scrapped together free labor from a cast and crew of dedicated creatives funded by a few thousand dollars out of the filmmaker's pocket.

So here's where you come in: We need money to bring this thing to life in post-production. This money will pay for three things:

✓1. 0-$1,200: An original score. Completely original music for the movie, recorded at Brothers Wash and Dry studio in Ridgewood, Queens, NY. Band members include: Sampson Hollander, Daniel Jack Safer Machnai, Michelle Shaubi, John Layton, James Salzer and Michael Pezzuto.

✓2. $1,200-1,400: This will fund some light reshoots happening March 28, 2026.

3. $1,400-2,400: A sound editor. We need a knowledgable sound editor to mix and master both the music and the film.
