on June 28th, 2018 Kilian (age 2) was diagnosed with Leukemia. Kilian and family were medevaced from Fairbanks to Anchorage so Kilian could begin treatment immediately. Mom, dad, baby sister, and Kilian have been staying in the Children's Hospital at Providence Medical Center in Anchorage since then.
As you can see Kilian still loves pizza! His favorite things are his family, pizza, and Peppa the Pig. He's been an excellent patient and insists that anyone who enters his room should listen to his tummy with the stethoscope to hear the pizza. In his two weeks at the hospital he's learned how to say temperature, arm hug (blood pressure cuff), how to call the nurse, and knows to put his mask on before leaving his room.
Funds raised by this campaign will immediately help relieve the cost of being so far from home for Kilian’s parents, Mine & Trent. Kilian will remain in the hospital through the end of this month but will need to stay in Anchorage for the next year as he continues to receive treatment.
