Kiishi's Table Tennis Dream
Donation protected
Kiishi Adekola was born at the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary on the 4th of September 2011. She was introduced to table tennis by her dad in 2019 and started playing at the Aberdeen Sports Village at age 8. The Coaches spotted Kiishi’s talent and were keen to nurture it.
Over the years, Kiishi has won multiple competitions, both locally and nationally. In the recently completed Scottish Primary Schools Championships in February, 2024, “Kiishi Adekola retained the Girl’s Singles with a dominant performance” and is set to represent Scotland at the Primary Schools International Championships which is taking place in Jersey from 5th to 7th of April 2024.
According to Max Singer Head Coach at Aberdeen Sports Village. " Kiishi is the most exciting female player I have come across in my 36 years of coaching she undoubtedly will go on to much bigger things in the future.
Kiishi takes part in various competitions throughout the year and has been given the rare opportunity to be the first Aberdeen junior player to join the Great Britain Table Tennis Training Programme. This gives her access to world class training facilities and coaching team.
This would require her to travel across the UK (mostly England) each month for training.
This aligns with Kiishi’s dream of continued development of her table tennis talent and long term goal of representing Great Britain at the Olympics. We would love to make her dream come true and we would love you to join us in this journey.
This stage of the journey would require a lot more financial investment and we are looking to raise funds to help cushion some of the costs of trainings, competitions and travelling.
We will greatly appreciate your support in helping Kiishi achieve her dream of representing Great Britain at the Olympics one day.
