Kidsake Nigeria Medical Missions
Donation protected

Imagine your child has a temperature of 104 degrees and is escalating. You rush them to the hospital, heart racing, desperately fighting to save their life.
In the U.S., healthcare laws ensure emergency medical care for everyone, regardless of income, prioritizing the lives of children over hospitals' need for payment. Sadly, this is not the case in Nigeria, where many children die because their families cannot afford medical care. There are no laws protecting them from denial of treatment, leaving the poor without access to essential healthcare.
Anthonia, a registered nurse in Katy, Texas, is a mother of seven and the eldest of ten siblings. Her love for healthcare started in Mbaise, Nigeria. After graduating nursing school in 1975, she worked in several hospitals in Imo State before immigrating to the U.S. with her husband and first child in 1982.
In 2010, feeling called by God to give back, she founded Kidsake Nigeria. She has witnessed the inadequate medical care in Ahaizu Mbaise, where families are often turned away due to inability to pay. Anthonia aims to open a clinic in Ahiazu, Mbaise, where no one will be refused care for financial reasons.
The clinic will provide prenatal care, health screenings, nutrition counseling, and basic medications for women and children. For the broader community, we will offer glucose screenings and health coaching to prevent future hospitalizations.
By donating, you can help ensure no parent has to bury a child due to lack of affordable healthcare. Join us in our mission to create a world where proper medical care is a right for all.
Kidsake is dedicated to uplifting the communities of Umuevu, Nigeria, believing that every contribution can make a significant impact. Together, we can offer vital medical assistance, compassionate support, and hope to those in need, fostering a healthier community for everyone.
