Last year, a quiet little girl named Grace walked into our center for the first time. At just 7 years old, Grace had already experienced more hardship than most people face in a lifetime. Her family had lost their home, and she hadn’t been to school in months. She was shy, withdrawn, and afraid to speak to anyone.

Thanks to the support of donors like you, we were able to provide Grace with a safe place to stay, warm meals, counseling, and a chance to return to school. It wasn’t easy—there were days when she didn’t want to get out of bed, days when she cried through her tutoring sessions—but we never gave up on her. Because you didn’t give up.

Today, Grace is thriving. She’s at the top of her class, helps younger children with their reading, and recently stood on stage to tell her own story of strength and hope at our community event. Her smile is a constant reminder of why we do what we do—and why we need your continued support.
