Hi! My name is Nicole Spickerman and I'm the Mom of Kiba, who is the main star of Corgi Cosplay! Back in May 2021 I found a huge mass in Kiba's stomach. Thanks to friends and family donating and buying things from our online store, we raised about $4000 and we were able to get the mass removed (along with his spleen since that is what it was attached to), another smaller mass they found next to the big one, and get it sent off to find out what it is. Well, that one came back as a sarcoma, which are known to be aggressive.

Fast forward to Saturday, October 9th when I discovered 2 lumps on Kiba's throat. Our vet got him squeezed in to examine and she was thinking it was a high chance of being lymphoma. Monday, October 18th, I dropped Kiba off at the vet to get a biopsy done and sent off. Today (Wednesday, October 27th), I got a phone call from the vet that the results came in and the lumps are actually sarcomas as well. He is going to go to the vet tomorrow to get checked out and for us to discuss treatment plans and such in more detail. Kiba will also be getting acupuncture done on his back left leg since he has been limping on it for about a week now and it's not showing any signs of getting better. Also feels a bit like he has lost some muscle mass in that leg compared to the right one.

Kiba is also being picky about eating and so I'm going to have to keep mixing it up for him and doing more canned foods and raw foods for him. We have to cut WAY back on any carbs in his diet since them and sugars feed cancers.

The reason I'm creating this GoFundMe (even though I do have a CareCredit card and will be using mostly that to pay for everything) is because of COVID and my job not wanting to being back all of staff yet, I'm currently out of a job and working on trying to find preferably a work from home job since it's hard to find a job that will accept working with my disability AND having a service dog. Just overall not a good time at all for anything bad to happen.
