Funeral funds for Lee Khamboonphet
Mr. Lee Khamboonphet is a loving father and grandfather, who was recently diagnosed with bile duct cancer (cholangiocarcinoma) at the age of 72 years old. Bile duct cancer is a rare and aggresive form of cancer, with less than 2,000 new cases diagnosed in the United States each year. The bile ducts play a significant role in the proper functioning of the digestive system.
The oncologist thinks that without treatment, he will only have 6 weeks to live, however, with chemotherapy treatment it could be extended to possibly 2 months (at most) to live. For the remainder of the precious time he has left, he will be staying at home while receiving 24/7 in-house hospice care.
We all know the family: Melissa Khamboonphet Paek (daughter), John Paek (son-in-law), Mark Khamboonphet (son), Shelley Khamboonphet (daughter-in-law), Jaden Vo (1st grand kid), and the most recent addition to their loving family, little Sophia Paek (SJ). They all have such big hearts, always putting other peoples needs before their own, never expecting anything in return.
This fundraiser is to help with the medical expenses, specifically, the on-going hospital bills and the in-house hospice care. Every donation would be greatly appreciated and will surely go a long way. No one should have to endure a loved one experiencing bile duct cancer and our hearts truly goes out to their family and every family who must cope with these unfortunate circumstances.
Thank you so much for your love and continued support. Wishing you a blessed holiday and a prosperous new year.
Love,
The Khamboonphet / Paek family
