Our good friend Kevin , who is 37 has just found out he has AML ( acute myeloid leukemia) , which cause bleeding, bruising, fevers, feeling weak, feeling tired ( fatigue), shortness of breath, dizziness, headaches, aches in the bones and joints, swollen gums, lymph nodes, liver, or spleen, loss of appetite, and weight loss, night sweats, and rashes. All of these happened and more, within a weeks time, his gums were bleeding and trying to clot, he was bruising where his belt was , bruises from his boots. He didn't feel good, he was feverish, coughing, had a headache and the doctors office couldn't see him, so he tufted it out over the weekend , mean while his platelets plummeted to 3, normal low is 100, he was in serious trouble, he could have bled out from a strong sneeze ! When he did finally get to see the doctor after the nurse took his blood pressure and left a nice bruise from the blood pressure cuff, the doctor asked him what ER he wanted to go to. He was then transferred to Houston Methodist Hospital, where he will under go chemo and numerous other treatments to cure him, which will put him in debt , so he needs our help, as you all know this man would help each and everyone of you if you needed it, because that's who he is, he is just like that !
