Move Mountains For Kevin Perez

Where do I begin?  How does one begin to explain such a traumatic experience of a loved one,  how do I try to tell you his story without reliving the feeling of that early morning?  I miss him, all I know is he needs prayers and love sent his way, so here it is, this is where it began that Monday morning...
On August 21st 2017, Kevin was headed to work as usual at 2:30am on the 405 south freeway.  Our daily routine was us leaving at the same time, since we both work at LAX.  Although, that morning Kevin left earlier than I had.  I followed approximately ten minutes later.   At around 3:28am I came to a complete stop on the 405s freeway. Everyone started to get out of their cars. I took a moment to text Kevin to make sure he made it safe; since he left before me.  This rarely ever happens. I got no response. As I sat in my car I was beginning to wonder how big this accident had been, more then 3 cop cars had driven next to me to bypass the cars that had not been budging. About 30 minutes later, I looked at my phone to see if he had texted me, I still had no response. In that moment I felt something I had never felt in my life, something was not right, I felt sick to my stomach. The cars started to light up as they started their engines back up, I took mine off park and slowly started merging towards the right lane as directed by the cops, I looked to my left, curious to see what happened, my heart sank, i could not breathe. It was Kevin’s car I recognized it by his license plate. His car had been hit by a truck.  I immediately called him thinking to myself “please answer, please answer” but it kept ringing when finally a women answered saying that he had been in an accident and is being rushed to the emergency room. That morning was the last I heard his voice.
It has been a month and two days and Kevin is still in a coma.  He has been in ICU for this long and has been undergoing multiple surgeries.  Kevin is suffering from Traumatic Brain Injury, the accident left him with eleven broken ribs and drains running through his body.  We are looking for donations to help him in his current state,  to then help him in his recovery once he wakes up from all this.  I appreciate you listening to OUR story and please know any donations help. God bless, thank you for your prayers and donations.
