Help My Sister Kesia Recover

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read my plea and for your prayers and generosity to our family. My name is Monica, the sister of Kesia Carrasquillo, daughter to Dolores.
Where do I begin...? I write this in behalf of both my sister and mother. Kesia has always been my bestfriend, my big sister, her "dunsky", her "ace boom since 85", we've always had such an amazingly close relationship . Kesia is just 32 years old but has been through many struggles through out life. 16 years ago our family dealt with the loss of my eldest sister, Melissa, when she was only 29 years old, leaving behind 2 twin girls- so hearing that this accident happened to another sister is just tragic and heartbreaking. My mother has been our families rock, always giving herself entirely and has always put herself last. Kesia has dealt with so many hardships, in and out of hospitals and has dealt with illness through out her life, leaving my mother as her caretaker.
March 29th 2015 was supposed to be a great day for my mother, because it was her 62nd birthday and in 5 days she was retiring from her hospital job of 20 years. But instead of celebration, at 8pm she recieved a call from my older sister, Mariella, stating the chaplain from the hospital called stating Kesia was in a severe car accident.
Kesia is in the ICU at Orlando Regional Medical Center, the hopsital in which my mother was retiring from after 20 years of service. Kesia will need reconstructive plastic surgery to her face. This morning, March 30th, doctor's started surgery, and Kesia unknowingly lost her right eye and will need months of rehabilitation to learn how to walk, as well as to recover from her spinal and back injuries. By the grace of God, Kesia is alive, and although she will never be the same again, we will always remember her as she was before, an amazing sister, daughter and friend.
Tragically while at the hospital my mother recieved another call stating her sister in New York was found unconscious and is now on life support. Our family is now battling with two tragedies in just one day.
So I'm here with such a heavy heart asking for your generosity in order to help my mother with any medical cost that may not be covered and any other costs that may occur in the next months to years of recovery. Even if you may not be able to help financially, I ask that you keep our family in your prayers. Thank you so much for your concern and love, we will continue to keep you posted on her recovery.
