Meet Kerry and Walter, two of the most giving and compassionate people in all of Texas.
Due to a major medical emergency, requiring immediate intensive medical care, they are out of work and facing months of recovery.
Walter is currently resting at the hospital in the ICU, and is allotted a single visitor each day. Kerry has put everything on hold so he can be present and available for his husband.
Just 2 years ago, Kerry launched an historic campaign for Lieutenant Governor of Texas against Dan Patrick, and Walter was by his side throughout, offering love, support, and making friends along the way. Whenever they would come to town, my daughter would get excited that she would get to go to Six Flags with Walter and sing with Broadway Musicals with Kerry. My family is not unlike many others who have fallen in love with these two men for the joyful experience they bring to our lives.
Won't you join me in helping these wonderful men cover medical expenses and household expenses while Walter recovers?
The initial goal for 6-8 months is set at $7000. Due to not knowing the final cost for surgery, ICU, and rehabilitation, we're starting with a $15000 goal to cover these expenses, for a total goal of $22000.
