Keram Bush Space Regeneration 2025

Donation protected
The aim of this project is to raise funds to enable the community to continue to maintain the Keram bush space for all to enjoy for many years to come.
The local community are hosting a Clean Up Australia Day event on Sunday 2nd March and aspire to purchase materials which will help with erosion, tools for removing waste, and purchasing plants to replace non-native species. In addition to this we would like to pay to replace the local native bee hive that suffered due to environmental factors. This bee hive helps the plants in the area to thrive, and the children adored learning about and observing the bees movements. As a community we would like to continue our work as a Junior Landcare group started in 2023. This space need protecting as it provides a wonderful source of learning about nature, affording children to learn about the wonders of nature, protecting wildlife, connecting to Country, sustainable development and appreciation for nature, global citizenship, and much more!
The expected (environmental and educational) outcomes of the project include creating and maintaining a healthier community of native plants and animals, and future proofing the space so that children can explore for years to come!
My heart will always belong in the bush, and I am so grateful for the experiences my daughter is afforded through this program. This led me to continue my work as a volunteer in this space, inspiring me to start this fundraiser:)
