To know him was to love him! Kenny Flynn was not only the life of the party he was the heart beat of an era! He was funny, charismatic, larger than life, and somehow made each of us feel like we were his best friend. For so many, Kenny was our first introduction to true top-shelf entertainment. He brought people together, created unforgettable memories, a true legacy, and made every room better just by being in it.

But more than anything, Kenny was a devoted father. His daughter, Cassidie, was his world, and he was hers.

At only 21 years old, she had to say goodbye not only to her father, but to her best friend. In her words: “It was such a blessing to have had him as a father. Never did I think I would have to let go of my best friend at just 21 years old. He lived for me, cared for me deeply, and had so much love for me, as well as everyone around him.”

During Kenny’s illness, Cassidie stepped away from college to care for him and remain by his side. She devoted everything she could to her dad, purely out of love. Since losing Kenny, Cassidie has been left to grieve while also facing a very difficult financial reality. She would never ask for help herself (she is just like her dad in that way) which is why I am creating this fundraiser for her.

The funds raised will help with living expenses, costs connected to Kenny’s passing, and the support Cassidie needs as she begins figuring out what comes next, most important returning to school.

Kenny gave us laughter, friendship, stories, late nights, and memories we will carry forever. Now we have the chance to show up for his daughter the way he showed up for so many of us. Anything you can give will help, and sharing this fundraiser would mean just as much. Let’s honor Kenny the way he lived: generously, surrounded by love, friendship, laughter, and the people whose lives he touched.

The “In Like Flynn” legacy lives on in each of us who had the pleasure of knowing him.
