Help Us Lay Our Father, Kenneth Berry, to Rest
Hey everyone — this is Keshon, Lashawn, and Trishon Berry.
We’re still trying to wrap our heads around all of this. Losing our dad, Kenneth Berry, doesn’t even feel real. One day we were talking, laughing, and joking with him like always — and now we’re here trying to figure out how to say goodbye. We’ve been doing our best to handle everything, from the coroner’s office to the funeral home, but now we need a little help from our community to give our dad the proper farewell he deserves.
Every donation will go directly toward funeral, mortuary, and memorial costs — including transportation from the medical examiner, services, and arrangements. Anything helps — a donation, a share, or just a prayer.

About Our Dad
Our dad, Kenneth Berry, was truly one of a kind — the type of man you don’t meet twice. A natural comedian, he could light up any room he walked into. He loved to talk his mess, make people laugh, and had this contagious energy that could change your whole mood. His voice carried, his jokes hit, and his laugh was unforgettable — the kind that made everyone else start laughing too, even when you tried not to.
But beyond the jokes, he had the biggest heart. He never missed a chance to say “I love you” or ask if we were okay. He was the kind of dad who’d show up even when he didn’t have much, who’d check in, who’d give advice, and who always made sure we knew he cared — in his own funny, real way.
He loved his grandkids deeply and spoiled them every chance he got. One of our favorite memories is when he opened a schoolyard gate on a weekend just so the grandkids could go play. We thought for sure the police were on the way — but he was just out there laughing, running around, and having the time of his life with them. That’s who he was: fearless, funny, and full of love.

The Kind of Man He Was
Dad had been through so much in life — things most people wouldn’t survive — but he always bounced back. He was tough, stubborn, and strong in ways that didn’t even make sense sometimes. Shot multiple times, told he wouldn’t make it, told he wouldn’t walk again… and every time, he came back standing tall like nothing happened. God definitely had him covered.
He wasn’t just tough — he was smart. Pops could fix anything: computers, cars, electronics, whatever you put in front of him. He had a gift for figuring things out. When he got his house and built his own office setup — three screens, glowing blue lights, gold audio cards — it blew our minds. He had a full tech shop in his living room and was running a computer business, helping everyone who came by.
Watching him inspired us. He showed us that no matter where you start, you can build something from nothing. That’s what he did, over and over again.
He was also hilarious — sometimes too much. He could make you mad one second and have you crying laughing the next. He’d roast you, talk his talk, and still somehow make it sound like love. That was him — chaos, wisdom, and heart all rolled into one.

Our Family
Kenneth leaves behind his three children:
• Keshon Berry (Son)
• Lashawn Berry (Oldest Daughter)
• Trishon Berry (Youngest Daughter)
He was a loving father, a proud grandfather, a loyal friend, and a son who never stopped loving his family. His presence filled every room he entered, and his absence leaves a silence that words can’t fill.

Why We’re Asking for Help
We just want to send our dad home the right way — with love, laughter, and peace. We’re raising funds to help cover:
• Funeral and mortuary expenses
• Transportation from the medical examiner
• Burial or cremation costs
• Memorial service arrangements
If you knew Kenneth Berry, then you already know — he left an impression everywhere he went. Whether he was fixing your computer, telling jokes, giving advice, or just being his loud, funny self, he made people feel good. He was one of those rare souls you don’t forget.
We miss him deeply, but we’re grateful for every moment we got — the jokes, the lessons, the memories, and the love.
Thank you to everyone who’s called, texted, donated, or shared kind words. Your love means more than we can ever say.
Rest easy, Pops.
We love you forever. Your laughter, your strength, and your heart will live on through us. ️
— With love,
Keshon, Lashawn, and Trishon Berry
