The Duke University Talent Identification Program (Duke TIP ) is a nonprofit organization that supports academically talented students.
They identified Kennedi and invited her to take the ACT or SAT as a 7th grader. She took the ACT on December 9th, 2017 and scored above the national average for high school juniors!
Because of her high score, she has been invited to participate in one of the Duke TIP summer studies programs.
Summer Studies is a three-week residential program for high-achieving young scholars. Taking place at college campuses across the country, the programs provide the social and intellectual stimulus that gifted students need.
Courses are equivalent to a semester-long college course or a year of high school instruction.
Kennedi is extremely excited about the possibility of attending this special program and we are excited about this opportunity for her.
This is where you come in. As you can imagine, these summer programs can be costly, and we'd like to ask your help in making this dream a reality for Kennedi. So if you would like to help, please consider a contribution of any amount. In either case, please help us spread the word by sharing this campaign with family and friends.
Thank you in advance for your help and generosity. It is greatly appreciated.
