In late October 2016, my best friend, partner of five years, and love of my life Kendra Senteney was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma.
For those of you who don't know what Hodgkins is, it is a form of cancer that effects the Lymph Nodes. Lymph
Nodes are an extremely important part of the immune system, and Hodgkins weakens a person’s immune system severely: for the past year and a half Kendra has been suffering from itchy skin, sores, and being consistently sick and nauseous.
We recently discovered two lumps in her neck, and moved swiftly to begin treatment. Luckily, it looks like she will make an eventual full-recovery, after about six months of Chemotherapy. Regardless, this situation is still scary and stressful for her, her family, and myself.
As many of you know, I am a full-time college student working two jobs. Kendra and I both currently live in Davis CA, and while I am able to support myself for the most part, chemotherapy has left Kendra very sick, weak, and nauseous.
While she, her family, and I are able to support her with food, transportation, medical assistance, and other comforts, Kendra still needs help. Medical bills, rent, and future procedures are all costly and create a looming threat over an already stressful and serious situation.
I am making this Gofundme on behalf of Kendra Senteney and her family. We all graciously ask for any aid you can give Kendra, from the smallest donations and up. Both Kendra and I are the last people to ask for help, but we feel as though now is the time to do so.
The goal of $7,500 is a number we all feel comfortable working towards now that we have begun treatment, and if it exceeds this number, then that is fantastic and we welcome any extra aid. If it does not, we are still extremely glad to receive any additional help that we can.
100% of funds raised will go towards current/future medical bills, procedures, and rent so she has a place to call home.
Thank you for reading.
