If you know Kendall, our amazing daughter, sister, aunt, and niece, or you call her your friend, your therapist, your co-worker, your counselor; or she is for you Iya, creative artist and spiritual healer – you know a joyous soul who has dedicated herself to the betterment of others.

Now Kendall/Iya embarks on her own personal healing journey. She has been diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic intestinal cancer. Gravely ill for weeks before her diagnosis, she recently began an aggressive chemotherapy regimen that will continue for 6 months. As someone who makes her living working with children in New York City schools, Kendall/Iya is unable to work – the risks to her immune system are too great. She’s living on a meager temporary disability income, and her health insurance will leave her financially obligated for 20% of costly and lifesaving treatments.

How can you support her healing journey? Your financial assistance will help minimize her stress. If you able to assist with the financial burden, any donation will be greatly appreciated. All funds will primarily go to mounting medical related expenses (hospital bills, prescriptions, transportation, etc.) and monthly expenses (rent, groceries, etc.). As a clinical social worker, wellness practitioner, a spiritual healer, and creative artist, Kendall/Iya gives all of her energy and her being to the healing and wellness of others.
