Help Kendall Fight Cancer for His Family
Donation protected
All,
My name is Adam Schmerbach, and I am a friend and co-worked of Kendall Giese. Michelle and Kenny Barnell (Friends and co-worker) have brought the idea of this page to assist Kendall as he has recently been dealt some difficult cards with his health.
In October 2024,
Kendall at the young age of 35 started to experience what was initially thought to be acid reflux. When his symptoms continued to get worse, a CT was done and showed a mass in his colon and numerous masses in his liver. After a colostomy and biopsies in November, he was officially diagnosed in December with Stage IV metastatic colon cancer.
Kendall began chemotherapy the day after Christmas and after several months of bi-weekly infusions, a recent MRI showed the chemotherapy has not been effective and the cancer has continued to spread. He has several procedures coming up in an attempt to alleviate pain and hopefully open up more treatment options.
In a rather somber time, some good news has been present as Samantha (Kendall's wife of soon to be 5 years) continues her path as an educator of other people's loved ones, they are being blessed with having their first child in April.
As an Eagle Scout and First Responder (Law Enforcement, EMT & Firefighter)
Kendall has devoted himself to being a frontline worker and still find time to volunteer as a hunter education instructor for the past 15 years and assist with Boy Scout activities, has also been a dedicated public servant since the beginning of his professional career. Kendall has shown compassion, determination and selflessness throughout his entire career and has always put Sam, his family and others first. Kendall is a true hero and as many of you know, a loyal son, husband, friend and soon to be father.
As they begin this difficult journey, we want to rally around them with love and support. This diagnosis has brought about not only emotional and physical challenges but also significant financial burdens. Medical treatments, surgeries, and daily expenses are adding up quickly, and Kendall and Sam could use our help to ease this load. Whether you can donate or share their story, every bit of support will make a difference. Let's show Kendall and Sam that they are not alone in this fight. Thank you for your generosity and kindness.
