Kelsey is going to Emory! NYLF: Explore STEM

Hey Hey Hey! Listen Up Listen Up! My name is Kelsey and I was nominated by my former math teacher, Mrs. Muhammad, to represent my school and community at the National Youth Leadership Forum (NYLF): Explore STEM program, on the campus of Emory University this summer.

By attending NYLF, I will join other motivated students from around the country for an experiential learning opportunity. as well as interact with respected professionals in various STEM fields, including astronauts, physicists and forensic scientists.

I am excited to attend this program because it will give me the chance to make new friends, exercise my independence, and allow me to further my interest in Neuroscience and bring me another step closer to reaching my career goal of becoming a Neuroscientist.

My participation in the program depends on whether I can help my mom raise $3,745. I am investing every dollar I can of my allowance to make sure I don’t miss out on this life-changing experience. In addition, through my family, friends, and neighbors, I have already raised $450.

That leaves me with a balance of $3,295. Please consider assisting me with all or some of these costs. My tuition must be paid no later than April 1, 2024.
