Kelly needs your help!!
One of our school mummies needs your help!
Our friend Kelly Kassianos is a single mother of 3 children Petra, Jack & Dakota! Dakota is in pre-primary at Kinross primary school & their worlds have been turned upside down!?!
One minute Kelly was planning her daughters Frozen themed 5th birthday party & the next minute she was having to cancel it for emergency surgery to have a cyst removed from her spine! Devastatingly the cyst, which they think was caused by her epidural 5 years earlier, could not fully be removed & has permanently damaged her spinal cord resulting in Kelly being told she is now a paraplegic & will spend the rest of her life in a wheelchair!
Obviously this is life changing for Kelly & her kiddies & I'm asking everyone to dig deep & donate to help Kelly in her future endeavours! There are grants to help modify a car for her but Kelly doesn't have the right kind of car to be modified! This means she needs to purchase one as soon as possible so it can be modified before she leaves the rehabilitation centre! Kelly's gone from a working single mum to spending over 2 months already in hospital with at least 6-8 more weeks of rehabilitation before she gets back into the real world! Plus as you can imagine there are still every day costs that are probably adding up regardless of the fact that she's stuck in hospital!
Please help support Kelly so she can stay strong & adjust to her new life in a wheelchair without worry about financial issues on top of that! I'm hoping we can do this to make it just a little bit easier for her & her family as she has a long road ahead of her!
