Kelli Waites Weakly, 38, of Spring Branch, passed away Friday morning, August 5, 2016. She will be greatly missed by so many friends and loved ones.
She was born September 27th, 1977 in Fort Worth with her twin sister, Kristi Waites Hutton, just one minute ahead of her, to Tooter and Carolyn (Hinds) Waites and oldest sister Lisa Waites Hambrick.
Kelli was valedictorian of her class in Knippa, Texas and was a 2000 graduate of Texas A&M University. She met the love of her life John Thomas Weakly, in 1997 at the NFR in Las Vegas. Kelli and John married in 2000 and began building a loving family over the years welcoming 4 precious children into their hearts and lives. Kenedy, Hadyn, Hudson, and Garrison were truly her shining lights.
She loved the outdoors and any kind of adventure. She was passionate about fishing. She loved old country music and dancing. Kelli would play cards or games for hours and she was always up for a challenge.
Kelli was a beautiful gift to all who knew her. Her love for her family and friends, zest for life and compassion for others was unmatched. She was a friend to all with the kindest soul and always an open ear. Kelli loved being mother to her four angels. She relished in all of their joys, accomplishments, humor and unique spirits.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Hinds Waites, her maternal grandparents, Celeste and Robert Hinds, and her paternal grandparents Elva and Dick Waites. Kelli is survived by her loving husband John Thomas Weakly, adoring children Kenedy Grace, Hadyn Caroline, Hudson Graham and Garrison Thomas; Father Tooter Waites and stepmother Lari Waites, twin sister Kristi Waites Hutton and husband Brad; sister Lisa Waites Hambrick and husband Darby, stepbrother Sloan Churman and wife Sarah; brothers in law, Mark Weekley and wife Andi and Dan Weakly and wife Emilee; sisters in law Elizabeth Weakly Bartow and husband Shawn and Mary Weakly Griffith and husband BJ; mother and father in law Janey and Pete Weakly; and many precious loved ones including aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, all of who are near and dear to her heart.
