I must start by saying "thank you very much" to all the amazing people who have been a part of my Bike Race Team in the Philippines and my Philippines Cycling Project. There have been many caring and generous individuals who have made the team their own in a special way, thank you!
This is my 10th trip overseas to the Philippines. And for my team, this is the 7th full season of the squad.
Overall, the past 7 years of the team have been super successful, and seemingly all of the adventures I have faced in the Philippines over the past 10 years have been a one-of-a-kind incredible journey.
Now, with my 10th trip to Cebu, Philippines, I am deeply grateful to everyone who has shared in my vision to help support upcoming athletes of the Visayas region of the Philippines.
This fundraising project is in place to assist towards an upcoming TEAM CAMP for the group during my stay overseas. The fundraising effort also contributes to taking 4 new Team Bikes to the group for the riders who have been most successful on the team. Also, the contributions of this fundraiser are for the extremely high costs of shipping fees for the many, many items of Cycling Gear that have been donated and gifted to the team. So much goes on behind the scenes to make the team thrive, and a major part of the project's success comes from this particular fundraising effort. Thank you to everyone for your care and generosity!
The Keith DeFiebre Cycling Team has just passed a major milestone for the group with 800 wins in the first 7 years of the project. This number, 800 wins, is much more than I had ever dreamed of. It has been beyond fantastic the amount of success that the team has achieved as a whole.
Here is a recent article from the Cebu Daily News on the team's 800th win in just 7 years of racing- Keith DeFiebre Cycling Team Reaches 800 Wins. And here is another article about when the team reached its 600th victory- 600 Win Milestone for Keith DeFiebre Cycling Team. And lastly, an article here from the Cebu Daily News when the team first reached its 400th victory- Keith DeFiebre Cycling Team 400th Historic Victory.
This success for the team is in part due to the amazing people who have joined in this fundraising effort over the past years. Thank you.
Highlights for the team from this past year have been many, in one 5-week time period the team rattled off 40 wins. There was another 21-day time period where the team recorded 21 wins. And there are still races ahead to close out 2023.
The team's female and male riders have won events in Mountain Bike Cross Country, Road Races, Mountain Bike and Road Bike Criteriums, Short Track Races, Uphill Races for both Mountain Bike and Road Bike, MTB Downhill, Off-Road Duathlon, Team Relays, MTB Enduro, Individual Time Trials, and Circuit Races.
Incredibly the team has won everywhere they have traveled!

To date, there have been 3 Junior-age athletes of the Keith DeFiebre Cycling Team to win Gold Medals at Nationals. This was one of the major focuses of the team from its start, to assist and help the youngest racers of the Philippines to one day win a prestigious Gold Medal at the National Championships. Mission Accomplished Here!
The stories rage on and on regarding the teams' accomplishments and achievements. It has been a one-of-a-kind story and the team continues to make history in its own unique and special way. This fundraising effort will play a large role in the ending of the 2023 race season for the group, as well as the continued efforts of the team starting in 2024.
Thank you to everyone who will take part in this fundraising effort with me! It truly means so much to me, and I am forever grateful to those who contribute to this cause. With each contribution, I am deeply touched. And with each contribution, the team gets stronger and in a better place literally!
