My Salvadoran friend Daisy is the devoted single mother of four wonderful little girls in Arlington, Virginia. This fall she faced a critical moment in her immigration asylum case. She desperately needed representation by a private attorney to avoid deportation to El Salvador. This came at a particularly difficult time when she suddenly suffered an illness that required hospitalization, surgery, and chemotherapy that prevented her from working for several months.

In early November, we were successful in moving her case to the next stage with the help of an experienced and reliable immigration law firm. She has been working closely with the attorney to build the evidence needed for her asylum hearing. For confidentiality, I am not using her full name.
