Keep Jimbo Truckin’
Anyone who knows, or has had the priviledge to meet Jimbo, knows what a fantastic man he is…
He has given of himself on every level humanly possible to so many people over the course of his life that the resounding effects of his giving could be rippled across the country and back. He rarely asks for help, sometimes to his detriment because he pays for it physically, emotionally and financially at times. Having lived with him this past year I have been able to see the other side of his giving. I have watched him spend a day in service of some kind, barely able to walk into the house, make a meal, relax at home or even speak. He is incredible; I think we all can agree on this!! He gives with kind words and praise like it’s nothing. He will spend a moment teasing, which we all know is how you know you are truly loved by this man, just to put a much needed smile on someone's face. He will and has given the food off his table, the shirt off his back and the time/money he doesn’t have to spare. This brings me to my mission…..
Jimbo has literally driven his truck into the ground. He has used this vehicle not only for employment but also in service. He would be the LAST person to ever ask for help and the FIRST one to offer it. My request…That we all donate a little/lot/whatever we can to help BUY JIMBO A TRUCK!!! Every one of you who've known him knows without a doubt he will offer this new vehicle up to anyone who needs it. He will use it to serve more than he will ever use it for his own gain. Watching him struggle to get every last breath out of his current truck has pushed me to want to do more. I will start off the “Let’s keep Jimbo Truckin’” fund with my own money and ask that you join me in showing some love to this much deserving man. He has no idea I am doing this so it is a surprise blessing for now – we all know he would dislike the idea PROFUSELY so try and keep it hush hush as long as we can. If he finds out….oh well! I’ll still me moving forward with it. I’m just slightly more stubborn than he is.
