WICSD Performing Arts Boosters Club

Help us keep the arts alive in WI!

The West Irondequoit Central School District, located in Rochester, NY recently entered into an austerity budget due to the loss of a school budget vote. Along with many cuts and program elimination, all drama classes and 2 of the 3 annual theatre productions at the high school were cut. Without these opportunities, many students will not experience the performing arts while in high school. Students who participate in arts learning experiences often improve their achievement in all aspects of learning and life, including literacy, critical thinking, social acuity and motivation to learn!

The WICSD Performing Arts Booster club was founded to support the arts for our children. Our goal is to raise $10,000 to reinstate these critical programs and productions to our high school. Any donation will help bring us closer to our goal.

Help us keep the arts alive in WI!

These essential programs help to enrich our students educational experience, assist them in becoming well rounded members of their local community and global world while at the same time providing them with a solid social support system of friends, mentors and community members.
