I hope this message finds you well. My name is Bridget, and I am reaching out on behalf of my sister, Missy, who is a single mom to 5 beautiful children. This past year has been an incredibly challenging journey for her as she bravely navigates the responsibilities of being the sole provider for her family.

Missy and her children currently reside in a small 2-bedroom apartment, and making ends meet has become an uphill battle. Despite her best efforts, each month she falls short on rent. The landlord has been understanding of her situation and offered support, but unfortunately, the property management has changed hands. Now, Missy has been served a 3-day notice, and she urgently needs to come up with $5,000 by Friday, or she and her children will face homelessness.

I've added an additional $1,000 to the goal to help cover utilities and groceries this month, bringing the total to $6,000. It's a significant amount, but every dollar contributes to securing a warm roof over their heads for the month of December and a fresh start as they enter 2024.

To add to the difficulty, Missy has been extremely sick this past week, diagnosed with kidney stones, a bladder infection, a viral infection in her throat, and E-Coli. She's missed work, and her upcoming paycheck will be significantly reduced due to her absences. The combination of health issues and financial strain has created a crisis that threatens to leave Missy and her kids without a home just before the holiday season.

We are desperately seeking a Christmas miracle to help my sister and her children get through this challenging time. Missy is the epitome of a hardworking, loving mom who simply needs a bit of help to weather this storm.
