Hi! As everyone may know college is ridiculously expensive. I have been paying for school by myself for the last 2 years and have recently come to the realization that commuting to school (to save money) has affected my performance and left me feeling disconnected from my peers. I am on campus roughly anywhere from 8-12 hours a day, everyday including a significant amount of Saturdays. So reasonably, living on campus seems like a better option for me. Unfortunately, I was not awarded enough in financial aid to afford living on campus with my current wage. I am not able to get much help from my parents due to being the first born and them still having my medical bills from my lupus to pay for as well as their own student loans. Any help is greatly appreciated and even if you cannot donate, a share is a tremendous amount of help! Thank you for taking the time to read this.
