Kristy is a 2019 graduate of the Sam Houston Sports Management Graduate program and a Tri Sigma alum who was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 Mucoepidermoid Carcinoma (Salivary Gland Cancer). Kristy has already had two surgeries and will be starting radiation treatments on June 6. Current graduate students of the Sam Houston Sports Management program are working on fundraising to help with her medical expenses.
