Kate’s Coffee, Tea & More has the opportunity to purchase our current location on 17th Street in West Columbia, along with the attached warehouse and restaurant next door, at a price significantly below the value of the properties. For a small business like ours, opportunities like this simply do not come around often.

Our goal is simple: 5,000 people giving $99. That’s $495,000 toward securing the future of Kate’s!

We know some people will give less, and some may choose to give more. Every contribution matters, and every share brings us one step closer. And we are not asking our community to do this alone. Kate’s, Angela, and James are personally contributing toward this opportunity because we believe deeply in the future of our businesses, our team, and the communities we serve.

Why Does This Matter?

Because this is about far more than a building. Owning this property would allow us to establish a permanent home for Kate’s, expand our operations, bring The Magnolia Southern Kitchen to life next door, create additional jobs, and build a stronger foundation for the future.

Over the years, Kate’s has supported schools, organizations, families, fundraisers, and people walking through difficult seasons. Sometimes financially, sometimes through food, coffee, gift certificates, time, prayer, or simply being there. That spirit of giving has always been at the heart of Kate’s, and one of my greatest hopes is that owning our property outright will allow us to give back even more.

Our vision includes expanding Kate’s, opening The Magnolia Southern Kitchen, creating additional space for catering and business growth, and providing new employment opportunities. Campaign funds will help us purchase the properties, complete necessary construction and improvements, and cover expenses associated with bringing this vision to life.

This opportunity would be life-changing for our family and our business, but our hope is that its impact reaches much farther than us. We want to build something that lasts. Something our employees can grow with, our community can continue to gather around, and that gives us the ability to say yes more often when someone needs help.
