Donation protected
Introduction: Her trip to Alaska was more than just a first vacation; it was her parent’s dream come true. She was eager to explore the stunning landscapes, witness the majestic wildlife, and create cherished memories with her sister. The bucket list journey, honoring their Mother and Father to see Alaska and its beautiful glaciers was tragically cut short.

Karla, a vibrant 64-year-old woman, unexpectedly succumbed to pneumonia during voyage and had to be medevacked to Seattle. After nine days in a coma, her son made the difficult decision to let his beloved Mother rest in peace. Now, we come together to honor Karla's memory and support her son and granddaughter during this difficult time.

Karla's Story: Karla was a woman who lived life to the fullest. Throughout her 64 years, she dedicated herself to raising her son, extended family, friends, and lifelong career to the comfort of the elderly. She adored her granddaughter, son, and cherished her animals as family. Karla was not only a loving mother and grandmother but also a source of support and encouragement for her son as he pursued his personal training career. She believed in his dreams and was his biggest cheerleader. She was planning her retirement from Minnesota Masonic Home and anticipating her retirement. Her dream of ensuring Charlie and Bernice would inherit the house Charlie was raised in as well as have the means to save for an education for Bernice’s future.
