Karla Cohen’s work is more than visual— each canvas invites a visceral experience where memory, perception, and emotion collide. Her paintings are not frozen moments but living landscapes, shifting and transforming, revealing the deeper truths beneath the surface. Engaging with her art is an invitation to enter a realm where images break apart and reassemble, giving form to the unconscious through color and texture.

Over the past two years, Karla’s work has been showcased at prominent galleries and institutions, including Boston City Hall, The Hyde Park Gallery, The Menino Arts Center, The Belmont Gallery of Art, The Mosesian Center for the Arts, The RW Norton Gallery & Museum, and The Longview Museum of Art. Most recently, she was selected to exhibit at Teravarna's Superfine Art Fair in New York, taking place from April 24-27. Since 2017, her pieces have been acquired by private collectors and arts-focused organizations, further establishing her as an outstanding emerging talent in the contemporary art scene.

But Karla’s journey as an artist has not been easy. Karla has balanced her creative work with full-time employment and single motherhood, painting late into the night after long days of responsibility. Despite the challenges, she has remained prolific, winning awards, exhibiting her work, and even hosting solo shows. Her voice is singular. Her momentum is real. And now, Karla is ready to give it her all.
