Please help Karl Harmon fund his cancer fight

I have been Karl's friend for 30+ years, a "brother from another mother" if you will. He has always been an independent person and has faced life's problems with a level of perseverance and tenacity, rarely asking for help. I have seen him muscle through many medical injuries from his years of enjoying the outdoors and all that life has to offer. Unfortunately, he is going to need help for his latest life challenge. This past Thanksgiving, Karl was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic lung cancer that has progressed into 17 lesions in his brain. Overnight he lost the ability to write his name, walk without assistance, and handle basic tasks. Within a week of the diagnosis, Karl received his first Gamma-Knife radiation surgery for his brain tumors. Two weeks later, chemotherapy began, which will be a standard procedure every three weeks until the end of his life. The prognosis from his medical team gives him a life expectancy of 9-14 months, though we are hopeful that chemo treatments extend that time or new options become available. Sadly, this rare type of cancer does not leave him eligible for any clinical trials.

Unfortunately, due to his extensive treatments and prognosis, Karl is no longer able to work. He is completely dependent upon his disability payments, which are a fraction of what his salary once was. Due to his inability to work, Karl can no longer afford his current home, and is planning to move into a mobile trailer to make ends meet. I hope to help him by raising funds, as most of his money is being spent on medical insurance, treatments and basic living expenses.
