Hi, I’m Kamil, but most know me as Gemini Mxr (or Mxr). So let me just say this is hard for me to do as I grew up without needing financial support as a kid. My parents made it by, but since being out, my body is getting worse. Top surgery is needed to feel safe in my body.

Being trans is not easy, and having PTSD from a lot of experiences when I was still fem presenting doesn't help. I know it won’t fix my life 100%, but it will help with my chest dysphoria that contributes to my anxiety.

Also, with the state of the U.S., I feel if I wait, I won’t be able to do it if things happen a certain way politically.

My insurance covers the surgery, but the aftercare while living alone will not be easy. I will need to have online food orders, Amazon deliveries, Ubers, plus all that I’ll need to get before as well. I will not be able to work on my brand or nightlife for a while as well.

Last time I went for top surgery I couldn’t even do my consultation and I know I didn’t do a public explanation. Well here is a short form explanation.

Most states hate my states Medicaid bill department because they take 3 plus month to send funds for any out of state billing request. Even if it’s covered. So when I got to my consultation I was turned away unless I had the funds to pay out of pocket. I spent near $100 just to uber back and forth to be turned away..
