May 31 Kabul Bombing
Donation protected
Today I am in mourning…
After a vicious attack on May 31 2017 in my homeland, Afghanistan, where a bomb exploded in the capital, Kabul, that has cost the lives of nearly 100+ individuals and injured over 350+ (they are still counting)
I am setting up this appeal for donations from my friends and families to help the people and families of this attack for immediate medical assistance. In the past, I have volunteered and have personally dedicated myself towards causes in Afghanistan and know that any contribution will have a great impact on the people who live there to lessen their suffering.
Your money will be given to a family member, Lemar Ahmad Akseer, living in Kabul and working with an international aid agency, to donate it directly to the victims in the Wazir Akbar Khan Hospital and the families.
I feel so blessed and privileged to be able to live in safety and prosperity here in Canada and hope that our collective efforts can improve the situation of people who truly need our help.
And for my friends attending my wedding, please make the donation here instead of honoring us with a gift.
