Kendall - Whittier Supply Drive

The Kendall-Whittier neighborhood is rich in culture and color, but most of its residents live on the social and economic fringes of society. Kendall Whittier families suffer from many of the challenges caused by systemic poverty. My colleagues and I have decided to do what we can to help; starting with Kendall-Whittier Elementary School.As an exceptionally devoted elementary school, Kendall-Whittier’s mission is to welcome each child and family as they come to us ready to learn and we will provide them with the quality learning experiences to ensure educational success.

One of the many issues that we came across were the piling expenses that this elementary school incurs from the many provisions they offer students in order to help them succeed. These expenses included school supplies and many other necessities. We believe that by helping them reduce these additional expenses, money could be used towards other areas around the elementary school, such as funding for playgrounds, gym equipment, textbooks, and much more. We hope that the vision we see for this school is shared with the rest of the Kendall-Whittier neighborhood.

***Money that is received will be donated towards getting new school supplies as well as other necessities such as Lysol, Kleenex, and Band Aids for students. ***
